Powder bath Refresh with Build with Ferguson

Nothing like squeezing in a last minute small project right after you declare you were done with projects for the year! This powder bath was small, dark and dingy. We wanted to do a quick refresh to hold us over before we tackle the bigger project which is to hopefully make this into a full bath eventually.

We started by skimming the walls to prep for wallpaper. I knew wallpaper would be a must in here to make this small space pop. We covered the vanity wall with vertical shiplap to give an extra layer of texture and interest.

The biggest change in here though was switching out our vanity, plumbing, mirrors and lighting to a more updated transitional look. We partnered with Build with Ferguson to complete the space with some of our wishlist items. A console sink was a must in here for me because I wanted the exposed plumbing and more open/less bulky look since the space is so small. This is Signature Hardware console sink was the perfect choice. I chose brushed nickel for the metal on this sink. I paired it with a complimentary metal- brass. This Kohler Purist faucet was the perfect compliment. I loved the classic look and cross handles. A perfect wow statement for this bathroom.

Ferguson has knowledgeable product experts to help you find exactly what you need to make every home improvement project a success. They are available by in-person appointments phone, email, or chat 7 days a week β€” and the advice is always free.

I mixed metals in here with the brass mirror and faucet and the brushed nicked sink and bath hardware. I love mixing metals in bathrooms and it definitely shows on all the other bathrooms we have done. It’s a fun way to add more interest to a bathroom.

All in all this was a quick and easy project. The order with Build with Ferguson was quick and easy and the install of everything went rather smoothly. Let me know what you think in the comments!

XOXO,

Ashley
